Kline can kiss my pimply white ass…

Well I must say, it is about time he was put to the curb. All he is or ever will be is a mouth piece for the ultra-right bible thumping crowd. I am male , and he creeps me out with the seemingly cavalier attitude about your medical history and the privacy laws attached to those. I don’t care what you think in this matter, because the first time you make an excuse to violate those laws, what is to stop you from making another ‘exception’? Not a damn thing! That’s right kiddies, once you open that gate, it will never close again. King Kline has been removed. He had to be voted out, after being appointed, and promising he would not run for office. Guess the Ultra-Right machine did not want that.

The DA is supposed to practice law and try criminals. Not do holy crusades for ‘supporters’ that are so narrowly focused or just cases that will get him air time. He became obsessed with abortion rights and the doctors involved. I could care less if a random number was assigned to the case files to protect identity. He had no right to get into those files in the first place. Crime unfortunately is on the rise for the entire metro area, and when you have the DA, and this does not matter where in the area, focused on doing just one thing, then what happens to the person we elected to do his job? He cannot focus on what we put him in office to do. Go after drug pushers, car jackers, pedophiles, or what not. Not holy crusades for a barely disguised offense sponsored by religious groups, who’s birth control practices are 13th century.

And for this asshole and his partner in crime. Good riddance. He actually had the nerve to waste an hour of our time to beg for mercy. What a prick. Shoot his ass on the side of the road and leave his carcass for the birds and stray cats.

A quick $2600 gone….

Last week about, Wednesday, my air conditioner finally died. It was here since the house was built, so it was way over due. Much more efficient now, and I tell you what, Despite the cost, I feel much better, though the timing sucked. Why not due this in the spring or early fall? Oh well.

WTF is up with the 5 minutes of coverage with KCTV5 about how smart your dog is? Did we cure cancer, crime, and war the day before? The new morning co-anchor on Channel 9 is a dim-wit too. She is one serious fucktard. I feel my brain rot a little bit when she shows up on the screen. I feel for the lead anchor, he must be thinking, “Yah, she may be cute, and can probably slob knobs well, but how the hell did she get this job? She is just a sack of air.” Call me psychic I guess.

Oh well, gonna go nap some more in my freshly cooled living room.

Tesla Motor opens second store

From Google News:

“Electric car startup Tesla said it will be opening its second store July 22. According to Ze’ev Drori, CEO of Tesla, the store is located in Menlo Park, California, basically in the neighborhood of the company’s headquarters in San Carlos. The first store was opened in Los Angeles.

The new location will sell products and also offer service, additionally the Silicon Valley location will be the “place where all final assembly, tests, and preparations are made with each car prior to customers’ delivery” Drori writes. The company has plans to also open stores in Chicago, Miami, New York and Seattle.

Drori’s blog post also details the production status of the Lotus Elise-based Tesla Roadster. He noted that there are 27 roadsters in assembly and 12 already have been delivered. The company plans to get about four cars per week into the hands of customers. The first cars, referred to as the “Founders Series” went to seven individuals including former CEO Martin Eberhard, chairman Elon Musk, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, board member Antonio Gracias, investor Jeff Skoll and talk show host Jay Leno.

Tesla recently announced that it will move manufacturing of its second car, the “Model S” sedan, to California.”

How cool is that?

What a night

I made it a point yesterday to get home a bit early so I could get my basement/rec room/man cave in progress cleaned up. I was going to get my PS3 and some other things moved back down stairs where they belong.  Primarily because of this:

That’s right, Metal Gear Solid 4 arrived, and from what I was able to play of it, so far, very cool. I did manage to get the room cleaned up and the furniture put together. Then after dinner, that bitch, Mother Nature showed up. Then all over the tubes was this:

So I flipped the channel, well because I wanted to know the weather in the Metro area, not in Trenton, MO. So I turn on Brian Busby on Channel 9. Well his audio was shit, because I could not hear it at all. So I flip over to Fox 4 for Mikey boy. So I am watching the live footage from the chopper they use, when he states his location. I think, self, isn’t that like really close by? And so I answer, yep, it is really close by. I go outside, and I look up and a bit west, and thar she is, the Fox4 Chopper filming a tiny little tornado birth. Granted sirens and what not are blowing, but from what I can see, (I read maps very well), on the intertubes and TV broadcasts, I should be ok if it keeps the current track. But wow, what a lightning show.

Well to get to the point, the primary reason I could not really enjoy that shiny new games was because the power was getting a bit flaky, and well I have lost a couple PC’s back in the day due to lightning strikes. So hopefully tonight or maybe tomorrow I will get a chance to enjoy the joygasm that will be MSG4.

Princess wants, princess gets…

This movie will be fun. And my spawn has made sure that it will happen.

But speaking of another princess, Hillary herself really needs to step down. I am tired of the race. This election has gone on too long. Throw them in a “Pit-O-Death” and let the aspiring leaders to be fight it out with crude bludgeoning weapons. To the death. Last person standing gets the spot. Make it a PPV event, screw delegates.....

Suggestions?

The Rightwing is Bat Shit Crazy

Notice the picture above? That is the ever popular and not too hard on the eyes Rachel Ray. One dumb ass Radio host (see image below), had managed to use scare tactics to get an ad removed, one that was not offensive by any sane level of reasoning.

What this Master of Ass-Hattery has managed to do is censorship. How in the world does this scarf equal terrorist? I believe a good old fashioned dry ass rape is on order. Some people are just so un-hinged that no amount of help or what not will help. The only reason ass hats like this can even get a job is the 1st Amendment, and that is one thing I would never have weakened. So I say let her hang herself with enough of the rope she is making.

Memorial Day Weekend

As The D stated. Let us not forget those of whom this holiday was designated. This is not for those vets that made it back. This is for those that did not. So if you are BBQ’ing this weekend, have a beer for one of those who did not make it back. My old unit is still over seas kicking in doors, and I gotta say, I hope that they all make it home safe. For those that did not, I know I will never forget.

As you were.

SuperDuper!

Used a pretty cool piece of software today called SuperDuper!. This application is written for OSX, and what it allows me to accomplish is a complete backup of my hard drive to an external one, and make the external drive bootable. For example, in my case I made a bootable copy of my system on Maxtor 500GB USB. Why is that so cool? Well I was upgrading my Mac, and did not need my install boot disc to bring my system back. I just booted off of the USB device and then ran SuperDuper! to restore my newly installed hard drive (which let me run the Disk Utility to partition it properly first). My reason for upgrading was one, 2.5” laptop (SATA based) drives are dirst cheap, and secondly I had only 6.5GB of space left on a 100GB drive, (Digital cameras are my weakness). So I placed a 250GB drive in and restored it. This allowed my to have all my software already set up and all my data that went along with it. Very nice I thought. Reminds me pof the days of Norton’s Ghost without the requirements of a boot disk.

I would give this software a 5 out of 5 for both the price (27.95 US), and for ease of use. Good stuff.

Metal Gear Solid 4

Hell, yeah! Reserved my copy yesterday, paid in full. Already have leave blocked in for a few days of joyus pixel based destruction. Plus an online element too? Schwiiiing.

The trailer is 15 minutes long. And shows actual ingame footage.

Have fun.

Mario Cart Wii

OK freaks and those of you who deny it. If you notice the column on the right, you will see a series of numbers or names that are associated with several online capable games that I play. Well I added a new one last night. And that would be the on for Mario Cart Wii. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to play it, was fairly busy. But rest assured, by the time I get finished practicing the victory dance when I crush my 8 year old daughter, I will be ready to blow the rest of you away online.

Big, Bam, Boom!

Holy smokes. I would like to thank those in Johnson County who decided to turn the sirens off and on every 8 minutes. For those that did not have a clue of why they did that until the local news stations mentioned it, we may have thought it was safe to go back top side. But damn, what a storm. I managed to clean out half of my garage in 7 minutes flat, when I heard that quarter sized hail was reported in Lawrence. I was able to safely tuck my Element in the safety of the House Mother. Myself, I needed to be up at 0330 to get into to work, so naturally, being the light sleeper that I am, at 0110, the second round struck. So here I am at work, trying to avoid getting “Rubber Neck Syndrome”, thus resulting in a lump on my already awesome forehead.

Oh well, I will just try to stay awake as best I can. Suggestions on how to stay awake at work and not get fired while doing that?
